House Systems

To promote team spirit, loyality, healthy competition, responsibility, and to ensure positive interaction among the students, they are divided into six houses, namely
GANDHI, JAWAHAR, PATEL, SUBHASH, TAGORE and SHASTRI HOUSE.

Every student, at the time of admission, is alloted one of these houses which is not changed throughout the stay of a student in the school. Each house is headed by one student known as the House Captain. A Vice House Captain, Sports Captain and four Prefects are also provided for the help of the House Captain. A member of the staff, assisted by several other teachers known as Tutors, acts as the House Warden. The points are awarded to the students throughout the year for the extra curricular activities, games and sports. At the end of the academic year, the house which gets maximum points overall, is awarded a Running Trophy. During the course of the academic year, several Inter-House Competitions are organised in sports, games, debate, art & craft, antakshari, extempore speech, essay writing, story-writing, quiz, calligraphy, solo song, group song, group dance, skit, Just A Minute and different types of multimedia activities. Every year, two houses celebrate their house functions.
